Treasury strategies in a changing climate

The implications of the recently approved US tax reform for treasury are significant. Companies need to review their capital structure and funding mix by both instrument and geography. Hedging may need updating and global liquidity structures are likely to need change. Legal entities set up for specific financial flows may have implications for current and future strategies. Volatility and changes in interest rates also mean new opportunities and new risks. Many companies whose international structures are tax driven will need to reassess these to see if they still make sense. In this webinar speakers from corporate treasury and banking explore how companies are managing cash in this new climate. Chaired by Robert Novaria, former Treasurer, BP Americas and current Partner at Treasury Alliance Group.

Key areas of discussion will include:

·         Balance Sheet & make-up of offshore earnings

·         Future cash flows: income, taxes and repatriation opportunities

·         Treasury, tax, legal & accounting inputs into business strategies

·         Capital structure, capital allocation, working capital

·         Risk assessment of interest & FX rates

·         Opportunities and risks expected for the future

·         Investment strategies that make sense in a volatile environment

·         Review offshore legal entity structures

This event is organised by the Global Treasury Leaders Network Group within ECTN and supported by a team of expert chairs and an advisory board of senior corporate treasury professionals.
